Ardi Barnard, Consul General of New Zealand
in Shanghai, together with Deputy Consul General, Wilson Chau, paid a visit on
the seventh of August to Ewaters Environmental Technology (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Ewaters
General Manager Weijun Zhang and all staff offered the special visitors a warm
welcome to our Shanghai office.
The Ewaters team was excited to show the Consul General their newly developed
flood warning system and enjoyed demonstrating their expertise in three waters
infrastructure management software platforms and how Ewaters has used these
data driven engineering solutions to solve complex water infrastructure
problems and optimize management of existing systems.
Weijun gave a brief presentation of the company’s history, vision and project development process. Ewaters was founded in New Zealand in 2003 and expanded to China in 2009. The company drives innovative practices and supports New Zealand's high-standard water management requirements in China. Ewaters serves more than 60 cities and regions across New Zealand and China, providing high-quality professional services, equipped with world-leading water management information and modeling technology, to help customers solve urban water issues. and Wilson for the consistent support from New Zealand Consulate in Shanghai on
Ewaters’ business development in China.
There was discussion on the water infrastructure needs in China and how Ewaters
could further develop their business to help meet those needs. Ardi welcomed Ewaters’
use of New Zealand’s water technology and New Zealand’s unique approach to
managing natural resources to help China respond to its water resource
challenges.
